BJJ sweeps
There are 8 sweeps in Rolla's library. A sweep takes you from guard to the top and scores 2 points.
A sweep turns the other person over from your guard, so you end up on top. Under IBJJF rules it scores 2 points if you hold the top for 3 seconds.
Every sweep attacks base: the way a person stays balanced. Take away a hand or foot they need, and they fall.
Closed guard sweeps

Hip Bump SweepSit up, post one hand, and push your shoulder into them. No gi grips needed.

Double-Ankle SweepGrab both ankles and push your hips into their legs. For someone who stands in your guard.
