What Rolla is

Rolla teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu decision-making through short lessons and a free library of positions, techniques and concepts. It is a study aid. It does not replace training with a qualified coach.

Train safely

Jiu-jitsu is a contact sport with a real risk of injury. Practise techniques only under qualified supervision, with a willing partner, and tap early. Check with a doctor before you start training if you have any health concerns. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for injuries from applying anything you learn on Rolla.

Your account

• You need an account to start the Path. The library is free and open without one.
• You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Profile.

Rolla Plus

• Rolla Plus is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the price shown before you pay.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Profile; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw. By starting to use Plus straight away you agree that the right of withdrawal ends once the digital content has been delivered. Email us within 14 days if something went wrong and we will sort it out.
• We may change prices; changes apply from your next renewal and we will tell you at least 30 days before.

Fair use

Don't copy, scrape or resell Rolla's lessons, images or 3D content, try to break or overload the service, or use someone else's account. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content

Lessons, text, images and the app itself belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning. Technique descriptions are written carefully, but we can't promise they are complete or right for every situation, gym or rule set.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Rolla running but can't guarantee it is always available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. You can stop using Rolla and delete your account at any time. We may close Rolla or an account that breaks these terms, refunding any unused paid period where fair.

Law and contact

Norwegian law applies, and disputes go to the Norwegian courts, without taking away the protection you have under the law of your own country as a consumer. Questions: hello@rolla.academy.
